Hello there, I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling Intern. I have more than 15 years of clinical experience in the mental health field. I will say that my most favorite role is that of a group facilitator. Why is it my favorite you ask? I have a Texas sized-heart for people. People that are healing from hurts, gaining freedom from negative habits, celebrating the victories, and walking alongside those who are just needing some added support from a like minded positive community.
I have a great deal of experience from my days as a Case Manager, advocate and group facilitator. In this role I provided Substance Use Disorder and mental health supportive group sessions to both adolescents and adults. Models for treatment I have worked with would include but not limited to the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model, Matrix Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Alcoholics Anonymous and Celebrate Recovery.
I am looking forward to seeing you in one of my groups.
