Hello, my name is Diana Becerra. I have my Masters in Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at El Paso.Iam a Licensed Professional Counselor. My years of education and clinical experience has geared me towards my specialty in working with children, adolescents and young adults.  I am also in the process of obtaining my Registered Play Therapist license. I am passionate about helping individuals find their own inner strength. Just like our favorite heroes or villains face
challenges, we all encounter obstacles like self-esteem issues, adjustment difficulties, anger, anxiety, grief, depression, and other emotional disturbances that affect our everyday lives. My therapeutic approach integrates Adlerian therapy, play therapy (including child-centered and child parent relational therapy), CBT, and strengths based therapy to create a safe space for exploration and self discovery. Just as superheroes model courage and resilience, I use their stories and pop culture references within the therapeutic process to connect with clients and support their journey toward positive well-being.
