I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides individual counseling to people who feel stuck, suffering depression, anxiety, stress, anger, trauma, life changing events such as divorce, getting out of a relationship, losing a job, moving to another town, children leaving home and much more. For those who need help to manage their issues by a trained professional.

 

I have a Master's of Science in Family, Marriage and Child therapy. I have over 7 years of experience in providing counseling services in both an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting and private practice/out-patient therapy setting. I work with preteens, teenagers, adults, active duty military personnel and veterans. Although I use a variety of treatment models, my go to model for therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe in catering my therapy around your needs. Solving a problem in isolation isn't easy, so that is why I am here to help.

Hello, my name is Marcella de la Reza, I look forward to counseling you or with someone you love. Counseling isn’t just for persons with problems. In fact, counseling is about achieving self-improvement and resilience. Even the healthiest of all persons can benefit from counseling.

 

I studied Counseling so persons and couples can have professional help in a safe, non-judgmental setting. I continue to learn current Evidence-Based Therapies so as to help persons overcome their struggles and improve their lives. Its rewarding to obtain insight and drive to become a happier and a healthier version of yourself.

I specialize in couples/marriage and addiction therapy. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor I am also a  Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with over 6 years of experience as a therapist.

My name is Dr. Ruben J. Fineron, my professional experience includes, helping people heal from traumatic experiences such as children, adults, and families to strengthen their relationships to help them to live healthy and productive lives. I understand that there is no single therapeutic modality to be used in clinical practice therefore, I implement an eclectic treatment approach to reduce the symptoms of anxiety, depression, addiction, and stress. It is important to provide a safe environment for clients to process their emotions while
learning positive coping skills while navigating through life’s challenges.

 

My Educational background consists of graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling M.Ed. in 2014, and I received my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University (PsyD) in March. 2023. I belonged to Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society. I have engaged in clinical practice for 5 years and have a wide range of professional experience using psychological theories such as Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) techniques which contributed to the success of my client’s treatment outcomes.

Hello, my name is Rosie Aguilar.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate.  I graduated from Webster University with a Master of Arts in Counseling.  I have two years of experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, and families.  I have helped clients struggling with self- esteem issues, anger, anxiety, grief, depression, and other emotional disturbances.  I utilize a client centered approach by working alongside my clients, at their pace and ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental environment.  In addition, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).  I would be honored to help you in your journey of healing

My name is Vanessa Medrano. I am in my final year of the master's in Social Work program at UTEP. I have experience working with adults, adolescents and  children. Some of my experience includes working with children in a school setting, especially as it relates to Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and student/family support services.

 

I am trained in the Core Components and Skills for Trauma Informed Practice with children and adolescents, I continue my education on mental health treatments that include assisting individuals as they begin their journey of trauma recovery. I have also facilitated an ongoing feasibility study that provides mental health support in a group setting to Hispanic individuals with mental health conditions.

 

My journey in becoming a Licensed Clinical Master of Social Work, has inspired me to work with individuals and families in their healing journey as I provide professionalism, ethical practice and best care as I individualize  treatment tailored to the client's needs. I look forward to working and learning from individuals of all backgrounds as we work towards the client's own individual wellness and healing journey.

My practice aims to empower you to live a more fulfilled life. I help you challenge your thinking to reframe life experiences into usable life material. The overall goal is for you to healthily respond to life's vast fluctuations.

I have training in collaborative assessment and management of suicidality, combat operational stress control, eye movement desensitization reprocessing, prolonged exposure, narrative exposure, and written exposure therapy. I use components of various therapies, e.g. humanistic, psychosocial development, systems, psychoanalytic, and family systems.

My professional experience spans the military and public sector in deployed settings, traditional clinical environments, and child protective services. I enjoy working with service members, adults, adolescents, and groups. Thank you for trusting me with this space on your journey.

My journey into the mental health field was inspired by a desire to support individuals in their pursuit of self discovery and personal growth.

Individual and Couples Counseling

Each clinician has a uniques style and therapeutic model. They adapt their therapeutic style and tailor it around their client's needs. The Talk Shop offer's a free 15 min consultation to see if your therapist is the right fit for you.

Each clinician accepts different insurances and may be priced at a different price for private pay. To verify which clinician meets your payment methods please call the office for more information.
